Passos Maia hydropower plant

Passos Maia hydropower plant is located on the Chapecó river in the state of Santa Catarina.

The power plant has a total head of 83m and the powerhouse is equipped with two Francis turbines, which receive water through a 1,415m long tunnel, 5.65m in diameter. The RCC dam is 22m high.
